Uniting daughters to achieve their destiny.

Who We Are

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”

– Nelson Mandela

In areas where crime, teenage pregnancy, domestic violence and substance abuse are rife, Daughters of Destiny offers girls and women the option to choose a new path and define a new future.

Change someone’s destiny…

What We Do

Daughters of Destiny is a non-profit organisation that operates in the Kensington and Factreton areas of the Cape Flats. We empower women and girls by offering various mentorships, leadership training programs and girl clubs.

LEADERSHIP

Through our Community Leaders Training Programmes, we train women to become key figures of leadership and support in the community.

CONNECTION

Daughters of Destiny creates a safe space for women and girls. Here, women and girls can share, grow and support each other as well as the community.
